The first student-run tech festival in Mirpur Khas. Six tracks, one weekend, and a lot of robots that are about to get tested in front of a crowd.
AJ Future Tech started because there's a real gap between what you learn in a classroom and what it actually takes to build something that works. We spent three years closing that gap ourselves, one robotics event a year, run by the AJ Future Tech Society at AJ Science College. Future Fest is what happens when we stop running them one at a time.
Our first event ever. Teams built their own RC soccer robots and fought for control of the ball on a small pitch. Simple format, steep learning curve.
We moved up to full battle bots. Heavier machines, tougher rules, a ring instead of a pitch. This is where the builds got serious.
First time we ran two categories in one weekend — Line Follower Robots and Sumo Robotics. It meant a lot more logistics on our end, but it worked, and it's the direct reason Future Fest exists.
